Dávid Julián Dobrík is a Slovak-born YouTube personality. He found early success on the video sharing platform Vine, before starting his vlog on his YouTube channel in 2015. Dobrik is known for being the leader of the popular YouTube ensemble The Vlog Squad, which features prominently in his vlogs and comprises rotating selections of his friend group. As of September 2020, Dobrik's vlog channel had accumulated 18 million subscribers and 7.7 billion views. The channel was the fifth-most viewed creator channel on YouTube in 2019, with 2.4 billion views that year. In March 2020, he was called "Gen Z's Jimmy Fallon" by The Wall Street Journal.

Marián Gáborík is a Slovak professional ice hockey right winger currently under contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). He began his playing career in the Slovak Extraliga with Dukla Trenčín for two seasons before being drafted third overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild, becoming the highest drafted Slovak player in NHL history. Spending eight seasons with the Wild before signing with the New York Rangers in 2009, Gáborík is the Wild's all-time leading goal scorer. He has also played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and Los Angeles Kings. On 13 June 2014, Gáborík won his first Stanley Cup while playing for the Kings.

A Slovak American from the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, Bednarik played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1949 through 1962 and, upon retirement, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1967, his first year of eligibility.
