Manos Eleftheriou, was a Greek poet, lyricist and prose writer. He had written poetry collections, short stories, a novel, two novels and more than 400 songs. At the same time he worked as a columnist, publishing editor, illustrator and radio producer.

Ángel Roberto Seifart, was a Paraguayan senior politician from the Colorado Party.

Edmundo Pedro was a Portuguese politician and antifascist, as well as the founder and former leader of the Socialist Party (PS). An opponent of António de Oliveira Salazar's Estado Novo regime and political prisoner during the 1930s and 1940s, Pedro later served as a member of the Assembly of the Republic's I, III and V legislatures following the end of Salazar's regime.

Omran Ahed al-Zoubi was the Minister of Information in the Government of Syria from June 2012 until July 2016. He died from a heart attack on 6 July 2018.
