Takashi Yanase
Takashi Yanase was a Japanese writer, poet, illustrator and lyricist. He was best known as the creator of the picture book and anime series Anpanman. Yanase was chairman of the Japan Cartoonists Association from May 2000 to 2012.
Helen Thomas
Helen Amelia Thomas was an American reporter and author, and a long serving member of the White House press corps. She covered the White House during the administrations of ten U.S. presidents—from the beginning of the Kennedy administration to the second year of the Obama administration.
Stefano Borgonovo
Stefano Borgonovo was an Italian footballer and manager, who played as a striker. An opportunistic striker, Borgonovo played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, and came to prominence while playing alongside Roberto Baggio with Fiorentina during the 1988–89 season, on loan from Milan. His prolific performances with Fiorentina earned him a permanent move to Milan, where he contributed to the club's European Cup victory in 1990, despite struggling with injuries.

Nikolai Ignatovich Kondratenko was a Russian politician, long time Krasnodar Krai Governor, runner-up candidate of the Communist Party (KPRF) in 2003. Kondratenko was criticized for public antisemitic statements.

Sai Naw Kham was a Burmese drug trafficker and leader of a major drug trafficking gang in the Golden Triangle, a major drugs-smuggling area where the borders of Burma, Laos and Thailand converge. He was executed for killing 13 Chinese sailors.
Walmor Chagas
Walmor de Souza Chagas was a Brazilian actor. He appeared in more than 50 films and television shows between 1965 and 2013. Chagas died on 18 January 2013, in his home in Guaratinguetá, São Paulo. He was found with a bullet wound in the head. It is believed that he committed suicide.

Lin Yang-kang
Lin Yang-kang was a Taiwanese politician. He was born at Sun Moon Lake during the Japanese rule of Taiwan. Some thought he might be Chiang Ching-kuo's successor as head of the Kuomintang (KMT), but after failing to win the KMT's nomination for president in 1996, he became an independent. Lin rejoined the party in 2005, and died in 2013.
