Charlie Louis Russell, Jr. was an American writer, best known for his play, Five on the Black Hand Side, which was later made into an acclaimed motion picture.

Yu Guangyuan was a Chinese economist, philosopher, and a senior official of the People's Republic of China. Yu was recognized as one of the first proponents of the socialist market-oriented economic system in China and the theory of "the Primary Stage of Socialism". He was a close adviser and speech-writer to the Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping.

Ewa Strömberg, was a Swedish actress. She appeared in a number of Swedish films before her international career. She is possibly best known for her appearance in a number of films by Spanish director Jesús "Jess" Franco, most notably Vampyros Lesbos (1971). She retired from the film industry shortly afterwards.

An American art pioneer in light art and luminist sculpture, known for her neon, steel, aluminum and acrylic glass installations, she always used the mononym Chryssa professionally. She worked from the mid-1950s in New York City studios and worked since 1992 in the studio she established in Neos Kosmos, Athens, Greece.
