Lodewijk Johannis (Lo) de Ruiter was a Dutch politician.

Aimée Kabila Mulengela was the alleged natural daughter of Laurent-Désiré Kabila, president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). She was killed in her home by armed intruders on 16 January 2008. Although she had been issued a diplomatic passport as the daughter of Kabila, after her death the government claimed that she was unrelated to the former president.

Norman "Hurricane" Smith was an English musician, record producer and engineer.

William James Finegan was an American jazz bandleader, pianist, arranger, and composer. He was an arranger in the Glenn Miller Orchestra in the late 1930s and early 1940s.

Jakob Ejersbo was a Danish journalist and writer. His work is considered modern and neorealistic. Authoring the immensely popular novel, Nordkraft, which sold more than 100,000 copies, an unusually high sales figure on the book market in Denmark, Ejersbo became an established writer. A tale about three young people and drug problems in Aalborg, the work was turned into a film in 2005, directed by Ole Christian Madsen. Ejersbo is also well known for writing what is known as the Africa Trilogy, inspired by the author's own childhood experiences in Tanzania.
