Clifton Paul "Kip" Fadiman was an American intellectual, author, editor, radio and television personality. He began his work with the radio, and switched to television later in his career.

George Lachmann Mosse was an emigre from Nazi Germany, first to Great Britain and then to the United States, who taught history as a professor at the University of Iowa, the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and the Hebrew University. Best known for his studies of Nazism, he authored more than 25 books on topics as diverse as constitutional history, Protestant theology, and the history of masculinity. In 1966, he and Walter Laqueur founded The Journal of Contemporary History, which they co-edited.

Andrée Debar (1920–1999) was a French actress and producer of stage and screen. She was married to the right-wing French politician and film producer Roger Duchet.

Wassila Ben Ammar Bourguiba, was the second wife of the former Tunisian president Habib Bourguiba and the First Lady of Tunisia from 1962 until 1986. She was called Majda (venerable).

Edmund Francis Gilbert was an American actor, with extensive credits in both live-action roles and voice work in animation, although he was better known for the latter. He is also credited, under his birth name, with research in entomology and the discovery of new beetle species. He also replaced Phil Harris, the original voice of Baloo, in TaleSpin and for special segments featured on the VHS releases of Jungle Cubs.

Kirk Alyn was an American actor, best known for being the first actor to play the DC Comics character Superman in live-action for the 1948 movie serial Superman and its 1950 sequel Atom Man vs. Superman, as well as Blackhawk from the Blackhawk movie serial in 1952, and General Sam Lane in 1978's Superman: The Movie.
