Antonio Ordóñez Araujo was a famous Spanish bullfighter.

Georgy Vasilyevich Sviridov was a Soviet and Russian neoromantic composer. He is most widely known for his choral music, strongly influenced by the traditional chant of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as his orchestral works which often celebrate elements of Russian culture. Sviridov employed, in his choral music especially, rich and dense harmonic textures, embracing a romantic-era tonality; his works would come to incorporate not only sacred elements of Russian church music, including vocal work for the basso profundo, but also display the influence of Eastern European folk music, 19th-century European romantic composers, as well as neoromantic contemporaries outside of Russia. He wrote musical settings of Russian Romantic-era poetry by poets such as Lermontov, Tyutchev and Blok. Sviridov enjoyed critical acclaim for much of his career in the USSR.

Paul Michael Stephani was an American serial killer. He was also known as the Weepy-Voiced Killer due to a series of telephone calls he made to police, anonymously reporting his crimes in a remorseful and high-pitched voice. Stephani killed three women in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area.

Elmo Alexander Plaskett was an American professional baseball player. He played as a catcher, outfielder and third baseman in Major League Baseball. Although his pro career would encompass 13 seasons in the minor leagues and multiple years in winter baseball in Puerto Rico, he appeared in only 17 games in the Major Leagues for the 1962 and 1963 Pittsburgh Pirates.

Widji Thukul is an Indonesian poet born in 1963. His work is political, often critical of the Indonesian government and the social conditions of the country. He has been missing since 1998.

Antoine "T.C.D." Lundy was a member and singer of the contemporary R&B group Force MDs, whose other members included his brother Stevie D, their uncle Jesse Lee Daniels, and friends Trisco Pearson and Charles "Mercury" Nelson. The group had a string of R&B hits through the 1980s, scoring a top-ten pop hit was the slow jam "Tender Love," which was featured in the 1985 film Krush Groove. The group also appeared in the hip hop-inspired motion picture Rappin' (1985). 1987 produced the group's first R&B #1, "Love is a House".

Leonard Francis Penn was an American actor and director and the father of musician Michael Penn and actors Sean Penn and Chris Penn.

Lalita Pawar was a prolific Indian actress, who later became famous as a character actress, appearing in over 700 films in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati cinema. She featured in hit films such as Netaji Palkar (1938), made by Bhalji Pendharkar, New Hana Pictures' Sant Damaji, Navyug Chitrapat's Amrit, written by VS Khandekar, and Chhaya Films' Gora Kumbhar. Her other memorable roles were in the films Anari (1959), Shri 420 and Mr & Mrs 55, and the role of Manthara, in Ramanand Sagar's television epic serial Ramayan.
