Georgios Athanasiadis–Novas was a Greek poet, lawyer and politician who served as Prime Minister for one month in 1965. Born in Nafpaktos, he obtained his law degree from the University of Athens. He was first elected to the Greek Parliament in 1926 representing his native prefecture of Aetolia-Acarnania, and was repeatedly elected to office until 1964.

Ted Moore, BSC was a South African-British cinematographer known for his work on seven of the James Bond films in the 1960s and early 1970s. He won the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for his work on Fred Zinnemann's A Man for All Seasons, and two BAFTA Awards for Best Cinematography for A Man for All Seasons and From Russia with Love.

Jaakko Johannes Friman was a speed skater from Finland, who represented his native country at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz, Switzerland. There he won the bronze medal in the men's 500 metres. He was born and died in Tampere, Finland.

Henri Decaë gained fame as a cinematographer entering the film industry as a sound engineer and sound editor. He was a photojournalist in the French army during World War II. After the war he began making documentary shorts, directing and photographing industrial and commercial films. In 1947 he made his first feature film.

Konrad Georg (1914–1987) was a German film, stage and television actor. A veteran performer he appeared in numerous films and television programmes in West Germany. Between 1963 and 1966 he played the title role in the television crime series Kommissar Freytag.

Andy Linden was an American racecar driver from Brownsville, Pennsylvania. Having served as a US Marine, he raced with great success until a 1957 crash caused a piece of metal to break his helmet, causing career ending brain damage. He is also technically a former Formula One World Championship driver, as the Indianapolis 500 was part of the FIA World Championship from 1950 through 1960, meaning that drivers competing at Indy during those years were credited with World Championship points and participation. Linden thus participated in 7 World Championship races, accumulating a total of 5 championship points.
