Erzsébet Házy was a Hungarian operatic soprano. She fascinated the critics and audience not only with her voice but also with perfect acting and her beauty. She was particularly admired for her portrayal of the title heroine in Giacomo Puccini’s Manon Lescaut.

Sigrid Horne-Rasmussen was a Danish stage and film actress. She was married to Danish actor and comedian Dirch Passer.

Captain Stephen Wentworth Roskill, was a senior career officer of the Royal Navy, serving during the Second World War and, after his enforced medical retirement, served as the official historian of the Royal Navy from 1949 to 1960. He is now chiefly remembered as a prodigious author of books on British maritime history.

Georges Chamarat was a French actor. He appeared in 109 films and television shows between 1929 and 1981. He starred in the film The Adventures of Arsène Lupin, which was entered into the 7th Berlin International Film Festival.

James Hubbard, 5th Baron Addington, was a British peer. The son of John Francis Hubbard, he succeeded to the barony on the death of his cousin, who had died without a male heir.

Marcel Francisci was an alleged member of the Unione Corse who was accused of masterminding the French Connection drug network. As a young man, Francisci fought in World War II and was awarded the Croix de Guerre. Following the war, he developed a business empire that included casinos in Britain, France and Lebanon. Francisci served in the general council of the Corse-du-Sud (UDR) and was a member of the Civic Action Service (SAC), a Gaullist militia. He was assassinated in Paris in 1982.
