Lakshmiswar Sinha was an Esperanto Indian education handicrafts teacher in Santiniketan, Bengal. He was a disciple and friend of Tagore, perhaps the most famous Asian Esperantist if one excludes Japan.
Miguel Itzigsohn
Miguel Itzigsohn (1908–1978) was an Argentine astronomer and observer of comets, credited by the Minor Planet Center with the discovery of 15 asteroids between 1948 and 1954. The outer main-belt asteroid 1596 Itzigsohn, which he discovered himself, was named in his memory on 1 August 1980.

Yoshibayama Junnosuke
Yoshibayama Junnosuke , real name Ikeda Junnosuke , was a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Atsuta District, Hokkaido. He was the sport's 43rd yokozuna. He suffered a number of injuries and only won one tournament championship, but was a popular wrestler. He was a runner-up five times, and earned three special prizes and two gold stars in his top division career. After his retirement in 1958 he revived and led the Miyagino stable until his death in 1977.

Art Landy
Art Landy was an American animator who specialized in animation set decoration, working on over 150 animated features. After beginning his career in Disney Studio in the second half of the 1940s, he joined the Walter Lantz Studio in 1953 and worked there until the end of 1966. At Disney, he mostly worked on the series of Pluto films, and on the 1953 animated feature film Peter Pan. At Lantz, he worked on numerous Woody Woodpecker shorts.
