Kjeld Abell was a Danish playwright, screenwriter, and theatrical designer. Born in Ribe, Denmark, Abell's first designs were seen in ballets directed by George Balanchine at Copenhagen's Royal Danish Theatre and London's Alhambra Theatre.

Valentine Loewi Davies was an American film and television writer, producer, and director. His film credits included Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Chicken Every Sunday (1949), It Happens Every Spring (1949), The Bridges at Toko-Ri (1954), and The Benny Goodman Story (1955). He was nominated for the 1954 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Glenn Miller Story.

Adrianus Voorting was a road bicycle and track cyclist from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. There he was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the men's 4,000 m team pursuit, alongside Jan Plantaz, Daan de Groot and Jules Maenen. In the individual road race Voorting ended up in 49th place.

Sir Earle Christmas Grafton Page, was an Australian surgeon and politician who served as the 11th Prime Minister of Australia, holding office for 19 days after the death of Joseph Lyons in 1939. He was the leader of the Country Party from 1921 to 1939, and was the most influential figure in its early years.

Jean René Gauguin was a French-Danish sculptor. He won a bronze medal for Denmark in the art competitions at the 1924 Summer Olympics for his Boxer.

Francis Patrick Keough was an American clergyman of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Providence (1934-1947) and Archbishop of Baltimore (1947-1961).
