Charles Henry Holden Litt.D, FRIBA, MRTPI, RDI was a Bolton-born English architect best known for designing many London Underground stations during the 1920s and 1930s, for Bristol Central Library, the Underground Electric Railways Company of London's headquarters at 55 Broadway and for the University of London's Senate House. He also created many war cemeteries in Belgium and northern France for the Imperial War Graves Commission.

Claro Mayo Recto Jr. was a Filipino statesman, jurist, poet and one of the foremost statesmen of his generation. He is remembered for his nationalism, for "the impact of his patriotic convictions on modern political thought", and has been seen in the same class as Dr. Jose Rizal, Sen. Jose W. Diokno, and Sen. Lorenzo Tañada.

Joseph Gregor was an Austrian writer, theatre historian and librettist. He served as director of the Austrian National Library.

Richard Ermisch was a German architect, painter and graphic designer. From 1903 to 1906, he attended the 'Königliche Preußische Baugewerkschule' at Erfurt. For a short time, he worked with Karl Doflein in Berlin, and from 1907 to 1922 at the municipal building control office in Charlottenburg, which was an independent city until 1920. Afterwards, he was employed at the municipal construction office of Berlin until he retired in 1950. In between, he became Baurat in 1921, Oberbaurat in 1929, later Magistratsbaurat and finally Stadtbaudirektor, head of the Berlin municipal building office.
