Giovanni Micheletto was an Italian professional road racing cyclist, nicknamed by fans "The Sacile Count" and "Nanè". The highlight of his career was his overall win in the 1912 Giro d'Italia. He was also the first Italian cyclist to win a race in France, Paris-Menin in 1913.

A co-founder of the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU), she directed its militant actions from exile in France from 1912 to 1913. In 1914 she supported the war against Germany. After the war she moved to the United States, where she worked as an evangelist for the Second Adventist movement.
