Elisabeth Adelheid Hildegard von Thadden was a German progressive educator and a resistance fighter against the Third Reich as a member of the Solf Circle. She was sentenced to death for conspiring to commit high treason and undermining the fighting forces (Wehrkraftzersetzung).
