Dr. Sergei Alexander Schelkunoff, who published as S. A. Schelkunoff, was a distinguished mathematician and electromagnetism theorist who made noted contributions to antenna theory.

Pina Cei was an Italian stage, film and television actress. She appeared in more than thirty films from 1933 to 1995.

Vittorio Seghezzi was an Italian racing cyclist. He finished in last place in the 1948 Tour de France.

Karl Struss, A.S.C. was an American photographer and a cinematographer of the 1900s through the 1950s. He was also one of the earliest pioneers of 3-D films. While he mostly worked on films, such as F.W. Murnau's Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans and Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator and Limelight, he was also one of the cinematographers for the television series Broken Arrow and photographed 19 episodes of My Friend Flicka.

John Wilkinson Taylor was a U.S. educator. He was President of the University of Louisville from 1947 to 1950. He served as the acting director general of UNESCO between 1952 and 1953, following the resignation of Jaime Torres Bodet. He died on 11 December 2001 at the age of 95.
