Maurice Bardèche was a French art critic and journalist, better known as one of the leading exponents of neo-fascism in post–World War II Europe. Bardèche was also the brother-in-law of the collaborationist novelist, poet and journalist Robert Brasillach, executed after the liberation of France in 1945.

Anthony (Tony) Freire Marreco was a British barrister. He was Junior Counsel at the Nuremberg Trials, and later a founding director of Amnesty International. He was also known for his romantic liaisons, marrying four times and having numerous other affairs.

Arnold Walter Lawrence, was a British authority on classical sculpture and architecture. He was Laurence Professor of Classical Archaeology at Cambridge University in the 1940s, and in the early 1950s in Accra he founded what later became the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board as well as the National Museum of Ghana. He was the youngest brother of T. E. Lawrence and his literary executor.
