Kurt Fritz Johannes Blaum was a German politician who served in political roles both before and after the Second World War; he was Mayor of Hanau between 1921 and 1933, and Mayor of Frankfurt between 1945 and 1946.

William Rosenberg was an American entrepreneur who founded the Dunkin' Donuts franchise in 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts, one of the pioneers in name-brand franchising, originally named the "Open Kettle" doughnut shop when established in 1948. At the end of 2011, there were more than 10,000 outlets of the chain in 32 countries.

John Edward (Jack) Otterson was an American art director. He was nominated for eight Academy Awards in the category Best Art Direction. He worked on 300 films between the years of 1934 and 1953.

Janus Hellemons was a Dutch racing cyclist. He finished in last place in the 1938 Tour de France.
