Howard Kelly "Jack" Fincher was an American screenwriter and journalist who had written for various magazines and periodicals, notably serving as San Francisco Bureau Chief of Life magazine. He is the father of the Two-Time Academy Award-nominated film director David Fincher.

Avrohom Pinter, also known as Abraham Pinter, Avraham Pinter or Avram Pinter, was an English rabbi and a leading figure in the Haredi community in Stamford Hill, London. He was also a local government politician who served as a Labour councillor on the Hackney Borough Council. He also represented Haredi interests on the London Jewish Forum. In 2014 he was ranked by the Jewish Chronicle as no. 32 on their list of influential British Jews. He was the principal of the Yesodey Hatorah Senior Girls' School, a role in which he received praise and criticism.

Bai Tamia Johnson Moore, commonly known by his pen name Bai T. Moore, was a Liberian poet, novelist, folklorist and essayist. He held various cultural, educational and tourism posts both for the Liberian government and for UNESCO. He was the founder of Liberia's National Cultural Center. He is best known for his novella Murder in the Cassava Patch (1968), the tale of a crime passionnel in a traditional Liberian setting. It became such a classic in Liberian literature that it is still taught in high schools.
