Anthony Chinn was a British supporting actor who appeared in over 50 films and television series throughout a career which spanned more than four decades. He was the child of Chinese and Brazilian parents.

Michał Kalecki was a Polish Marxian economist. Over the course of his life, Kalecki worked at the London School of Economics, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford and Warsaw School of Economics and was an economic advisor to the governments of Poland, France, Cuba, Israel, Mexico and India. He also served as the deputy director of the United Nations Economic Department in New York City.

Carl Tighe was a prolific British writer, academic, essayist, novelist, and poet. He taught in Poland during the Cold War and was the first Professor of Creative Writing in the UK at the University of Derby.

Jean Doré was a Canadian politician and mayor of the City of Montreal, Quebec.
