Roland Topor was a French illustrator, cartoonist, comics artist, painter, novelist, playwright, film and TV writer, filmmaker and actor, who was known for the surreal nature of his work. He was of Polish-Jewish origin. His parents were Jewish refugees from Warsaw. He spent the early years of his life in Savoy, where his family hid him from the Gestapo.

Doug Raney was an American jazz guitarist. He was the son of jazz guitarist Jimmy Raney.

Brigitte Gros (1925-1985) was a French journalist and politician. She served as the mayor of Meulan-en-Yvelines and as a member of the French Senate. She was the author of several books.

Tommy L. Green was a professional basketball point guard who spent one season in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the New Orleans Jazz during the 1978–79 season.
