Nathan "Bodie" Barksdale was a Baltimore, Maryland, drug dealer dramatized in the HBO series The Wire, although the extent to which any of the show's characters or plot lines are based on his life is disputed. His life is the subject of the unreleased docudrama Baltimore Chronicles: Legends of the Unwired, which purports to be the true story behind The Wire. He was in the early stages of writing his autobiography at the time of his death.

Anita Louise was an American film and television actress best known for her performances in A Midsummer Night's Dream (1935), The Story of Louis Pasteur (1935), Anthony Adverse (1936), Marie Antoinette (1938), and The Little Princess (1939). She was named as a WAMPAS Baby Star, and frequently described as one of the cinema's more fashionable and stylish women.

Mikhail Nekhemyevich Tal was a Soviet Latvian chess player and the eighth World Chess Champion. Widely regarded as a creative genius and one of the best attacking players of all time, Tal played in a daring, combinatorial style. His play was known above all for improvisation and unpredictability. It has been said that "Every game for him was as inimitable and invaluable as a poem". He was often called "Misha", a diminutive for Mikhail, and he earned the nickname "The magician from Riga". Both The Mammoth Book of the World's Greatest Chess Games and Modern Chess Brilliancies include more games by Tal than any other player. In addition, Tal was a highly regarded chess writer. He also previously held the record for the longest unbeaten streak in competitive chess history with 95 games between 23 October 1973 and 16 October 1974, until Ding Liren's streak of 100 games between 9 August 2017 and 11 November 2018.

Alexander Johnstone was a Scottish Conservative and Unionist politician. He served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for North East Scotland from 1999 until his death in 2016.

Ivan Tasovac was a Serbian pianist and manager. He served as the director of Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra from 2001 to 2013. He also served as the Minister of Culture and Information in the Government of Serbia from 2013 to 2016 and was elected to the National Assembly of Serbia in the 2020 Serbian parliamentary election.

Maxwell Reed was a Northern Irish actor who became a matinee idol in several British films during the 1940s and 1950s.

Antonio Helguera was a Mexican cartoonist. He studied engraving at La Esmeralda National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving. In 1983, he began his career as a political cartoonist in the newspaper El Día. He continued this work at La Jornada and Siempre!, in addition to El Chahuistle and El Chamuco, magazines of which he was also the co-editor. In 1996 and 2002 he received the Premio Nacional de Periodismo.

Eric Geboers was a Belgian professional motocross racer and racing driver. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1980 to 1990, winning five world championships in eleven years. Geboers is notable for being the first motocross competitor to win world championships in the 125cc, 250cc, and 500cc divisions. His 39 career Grand Prix victories ranks him fifth overall among motocross world championship competitors. In 2011, Geboers was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements. Geboers died in a drowning accident in 2018.
