Brita Sigourney is an American freestyle skier. She attended Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California, and later went on to attend the University of California, Davis, where she played water polo. She trained in her career as a freestyle skier in Park City, Utah. She won a silver medal in the superpipe at Winter X Games XV in 2011, followed with a bronze in 2012. She has competed in both the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics, finishing 6th in 2014. She won a bronze medal in the 2018 Olympics on February 19, 2018, with a score of 91.6, which she achieved on her third run. Up until her third run, the judges expressed to an NBC broadcaster of their approval of her form and amplitude but that she needed improvement with her creativity. She was good friends with her competitor Annalisa Drew and regretted bumping her off the podium. She won another bronze at the 2019 FIS World Championship in halfpipe.

Liu Xiaoming is a Chinese diplomat who has served as the current Ambassador of China to the United Kingdom since 2010 under Chinese leaders Hu Jintao (2010–2012) and Xi Jinping (2012–present). In December 2020, it was announced that he will retire as ambassador and will be replaced by Zheng Zeguang.

David Wayne Toms is an American professional golfer, who currently plays on the PGA Champions Tour. From 1992 to 2017, Toms was a member of the PGA Tour, where he won 13 events, including one major, the 2001 PGA Championship. He was in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for 175 weeks between 2001 and 2006, and ranked as high as fifth in 2002 and 2003.

Haider Mahmoud is a poet and a Jordanian nationalist of Palestinian origin. He was born in Haifa in 1942. His family fled their home in the aftermath of the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. He studied in Amman before pursuing his higher education in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Aaron James Barrett is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Washington Nationals organization. He made his major league debut with the Nationals in 2014, but spent four years in injury rehab and the minor leagues after Tommy John surgery in September 2015 before being called back up to the major leagues in September 2019.

Shakil Afridi, or Shakeel Afridi, is a Pakistani physician who helped the CIA run a fake hepatitis vaccine program in Abbottabad, Pakistan, to confirm Osama bin Laden's presence in the city by obtaining DNA samples. Details of his activities emerged during the Pakistani investigation of the deadly raid on bin Laden's residence. This account is disputed in a recent account of events which implies Afridi was implicated as a cover for the real CIA operative. Afridi was arrested at the Torkham border crossing while trying to flee the country days after the raid. On 23 May 2012, he was sentenced to 33 years' imprisonment for treason, initially believed to be in connection with the bin Laden raid, but later revealed to be due to alleged ties with a local Islamist warlord Mangal Bagh. Lawyers appealed against the verdict on 1 June 2012. On 29 August 2013, his sentence was overturned and a retrial ordered.

Alan Estrada Gutiérrez is an actor, dancer and singer. His best known role was "Mario" in the Spanish musical Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar. He is also known for his YouTube channel Alan X El Mundo, documenting his world travels.

Timothy David Beckman is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Toledo from 2009 to 2011 and at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign from 2012 to 2014, compiling a career college football coaching record of 33–41. Beckman was terminated by Illinois on August 28, 2015, seven days prior to the Illini's scheduled season opener, after numerous allegations of abuse of players surfaced.
