Satomu Shimizu , better known by the pen name of Shūgorō Yamamoto , was a Japanese novelist and short-story writer active during the Shōwa period of Japan. He was noted for his popular literature, and is known to have published works under at least fourteen different pen names.

Alexander Valentinovich Titov is a Russian rock musician, known for his role as bassist of the band Aquarium, a position previously held by Fan. He has also performed with the bands Avgust, Pop-Mekhanika, and Kino. He was born in Leningrad. Alexander Titov is married to singer-songwriter, musician, lead singer of Rina Green, and British Linguist Elena Titov. They have two children, Anna Titov (27) and Catherine Titov (16).

Joan Smalls Rodriguez is a Puerto Rican model and actress. In 2011, she became the first Latina model to represent Estée Lauder cosmetics. In 2013, she entered Forbes magazine's "World's Highest-Paid Models" list for the first time, ranking at number eight with over $3 million in earnings. In January 2014, Smalls appeared on the "Return of the Supermodel" cover of American Elle. In 2012, Smalls was ranked the number #1 model in the world by Models.com; she is currently ranked as one of the New Supers and "Money Girls".

Birgit Kober is a German Paralympic athlete. She initially competed in F34 seated throwing events, and from 2011-2013 she became the reigning champion at European, World and Paralympic level in both shot put and javelin in her class. At the 2012 Summer Paralympic Games in London, she broke the world record in both her events. Following changes to the IPC rules for seated throws in 2014, she chose to compete in a standing position as an F36 athlete. She won the F36 shot put at the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games with a Paralympic record throw. As of April 2017 she is World Record holder in the Women's F36 shot put, a distance of 11.52 m set in July 2016.

Julia Chanourdie is a French professional rock climber. She is mainly active in lead climbing competitions. She also climbs outdoors, with outstanding results. On November 7th 2020, she became the third woman to climb 9b (5.15b) by completing the route Eagle 4 in Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux, France.

Anna Šabatová is a Czech politician, and former ombudsman of the Czech Republic. She was a signatory to Charter 77 and its spokesperson in 1986. Šabatová was awarded the United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights in 1998. She received the Czech Medal of Merit in 2002. In 2014, Šabatová was elected as the ombudsman of the Czech Republic, replacing Pavel Varvařovský.

Soma Yamauchi is a Japanese former professional baseball pitcher in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. He played for the Chunichi Dragons from 2008 to 2014 and for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in 2016.
