John Paul "Johnny" Herbert is a former British racing driver and current television announcer for Sky Sports F1. He raced in Formula One from 1989 to 2000, for seven different teams, winning three races and placing 4th in the 1995 championship. He also raced sports cars, winning the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1991 driving a Mazda 787B. He enjoyed much success in lower-level motor racing.

Wakanosato Shinobu is a retired sumo wrestler from Hirosaki, Aomori, Japan. He made his debut in the top division in 1998, and his highest rank was sekiwake. He holds the record for the most consecutive tournaments ranked in the junior san'yaku ranks of sekiwake and komusubi. He won ten special prizes and was twice runner-up in a tournament. He earned two gold stars for defeating yokozuna at a maegashira rank. He had 1691 career bouts, sixth on the all-time list. He retired in 2015 and was a coach at Tagonoura stable, until opening his own Nishiiwa stable in February 2018.

Jean Luchaire was a French journalist and politician who became the head of the French collaborationist press in Paris during the German military occupation. Luchaire supported the Révolution nationale declared by the French Government after it relocated to the spa town of Vichy in 1940.

Raimundo Nonato de Lima Ribeiro, known as just Nonato, is a Brazilian former footballer who last played as a forward for Goianésia. His previous clubs include Fortaleza, Goiás, FC Seoul, Daegu FC, Ituano, Iraty, Tuna Luso, Bahia and Trindade. One of his best passages was with Rio Verde, Goias traditional team. He became top scorer during several rounds, even with the team in the relegation zone. He lost his artillery to Patrique, of Vila Nova, but saved the "Verdão do Sudoeste" from "sticking". It is often known as the top scorer Nonato. He had disagreements with the board's "Verdão" and ended up leaving before the last round of Campeonato Goiano de 2012. Currently, he dispute the Campeonato Goiano de 2013 for Goianésia.

Minoru Kamata is a Japanese physician, writer, and humanitarian. Throughout his medical career he has been an advocate of patient-centered care, and he has also been actively involved in international medical and humanitarian aid. As a founding member of the Japan Chernobyl Foundation, Kamata has been particularly active in promoting medical aid programs for victims of the Chernobyl disaster, and subsequently for victims of other international and domestic disasters and conflicts. His book Gambaranai, which became a best seller in Japan in 2000, was dramatized for Japanese television. Kamata has been the recipient of numerous awards for his contributions to medicine, publishing and broadcasting, as well as for his overseas aid work and peace efforts.
