Yuri Vasilievich was the only brother of Ivan the Terrible. He was born deaf, and was thus never considered to be a candidate as heir to the Russian throne. He ruled the appanage principality of Uglich on the Volga.

Karl von Stürgkh was an Austrian politician and Minister-President of Cisleithania during the 1914 July Crisis that led to the outbreak of World War I. He was shot and killed by the Social Democratic politician Friedrich Adler.

Sylvie Kauffmann is a French journalist for Agence France-Presse (AFP) and the newspaper Le Monde. She worked for AFP in France in 1979 and as a foreign correspondent from 1980 to 1988. Kauffmann joined Le Monde as Moscow correspondent in 1988 and later Eastern and Central Europe correspondent from 1989 to 1993. She worked in the United States from 1993 to 2001 and Latin America in 2002 and 2003. Kauffman was appointed deputy chief editor of Le Monde in 2003 and covering Southeast Asia as reporter-in-large from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, she was appointed the newspaper's first woman editor-in chief, serving in the role until 2011.

Jorge Fonseca is a Portuguese judoka. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 100 kg event, in which he was eliminated in the second round by Lukáš Krpálek. He won the gold medal at the 2019 World Judo Championships in Tokyo and in the 2021 World Judo Championships in Budapest.

Carl Lange was a German film actor. He appeared in more than 70 films between 1954 and 1985. He was born in Flensburg, Germany and died in Ostfildern, Germany.

Michel Soro is a French professional boxer. He challenged for the WBO and IBO light middleweight titles in 2012, and the WBA interim super welterweight title in 2017. At regional level, he held the EBU European middleweight title, the WBO European junior middleweight title twice, and the WBA International super welterweight title. As of November 2020, Soro is ranked is the world’s eighth best active light middleweight by The Ring magazine and seventh best by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board.

Gary Fan Kwok-wai is a Hong Kong politician. He was the member of Legislative Council from 2012 to 2016 and from 2018 to 2019 after winning the 2018 by-election for New Territories East. He is also a former member of the Sai Kung District Council for Wan Hang. Former leader of the reformist faction in the Democratic Party, he led the reformists splitting from the party to form the Neo Democrats over the controversial 2010 constitutional reform proposal, taking a moderate localist stance.
