Yves Brunier is a French puppeteer. He is best known for his character, Casimir, an orange colored dinosaur who appears on French Children's TV. He played Chelli in Sacatruc, the French version of Big Bag. Brunier later went to perform on 5, Rue Sésame as Yoyo. He also performed on the Muppet Show TV pilot.

The Tyre headquarters bombings were two suicide bombings against the Israel Defense Forces' headquarters building in Tyre, Lebanon, in 1982 and 1983. The blasts killed 103 Israelis and 46–59 Lebanese, wounding 95 people and were some of the worst losses ever for the IDF. The second attack occurred in November 1983 and was attributed to Hezbollah.

The newly appointed governor of Kufa, Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, issued the command to guard all entrances and exits to Kufa in order to intercept al-Husayn for an oath of allegiance to Yazid ibn Mu'awiya ibn Abu Sufyan of the Ummayad dynasty. Al-Hurr ibn Yazid al-Tamimi al-Yarbu'i wasal-Husayn long with his 1,000 soldiers to sanction al-Husayn and his followers and bring themal-Husayn Initially responsible for holding al-Husayn and his followers captive, al-Hurr died fighting on al-Husayn's behalf after decisions fueled by corrupt intentions surfaced from Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad. Adelaide Clemens is an Australian actress. She was nominated for a Logie Award in 2008 for her role in the television series Love My Way. In 2012, she played Valentine Wannop in BBC's television miniseries adaptation Parade's End. In Hollywood, Clemens has appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Great Gatsby, and starred in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. From 2013 to 2016, she starred in the television series Rectify.

Dawn Olanick, previously known as Princess Doe, was a previously unidentified American teenager from Bohemia, New York who was found murdered in Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Blairstown, New Jersey on July 15, 1982. Her face had been bludgeoned beyond recognition. She was the first unidentified decedent to be entered in the National Crime Information Center. Olanick was publicly identified on the 40th anniversary of her discovery.

Dragoslav Šekularac was a Serbian professional footballer and coach. Nicknamed Šeki, he was quick and crafty with the ball, displaying creative skills which turned many heads. Possessing supreme self-confidence along with impeccable technical ability, he was one of the biggest showmen and crowd draws in the history of Yugoslav football. His enormous popularity throughout FPR Yugoslavia during the early 1960s transcended sports as he easily became one of the most recognizable individuals in the country. As a coach, he led several clubs in Canada, Colombia, Australia, Serbia, Mexico, and Spain, as well as the Guatemala national team in the 1986 FIFA World Cup qualification.
