Wael Abbas Bilal is an internationally renowned Egyptian journalist, blogger, and human rights activist, who blogs at Misr Digital. He reported an incident of mob harassment of women, and broadcast several videos of police brutality. His actions led to the conviction of police for torture, but he has been harassed by the Egyptian government, and his accounts with YouTube and Yahoo were closed. YouTube has since restored his account and most of his videos. Facebook had deleted Wael's account but it has since been restored.

Andrei Vladimirovich Burkovsky is a Russian theater and film actor, former KVN player, champion of the Major League as a member of the Maximum team (2008). However, after becoming famous as a comedian he soon started playing serious roles in theater, on TV and in cinema. Since 2014, he has been an actor of the Moscow Art Theatre He is known for starring in Start original series The Mediator, More.tv original series An Hour Before the Dawn and in feature films Milk, Doctor Lisa and Tchaikovsky's Wife.

Kenwa Mabuni was one of the first karateka to teach karate in mainland Japan and is credited as developing the style known as Shitō-ryū. Originally, he chose the name Hanko-ryu, literally "half-hard style", to imply that the style used both hard and soft techniques. Toyama Kanken, who was trained the same way he was, teased Mabuni endlessly about the name, implying it meant "semi erect". Finally, Mabuni chose Shito-ryu, the first characters of the names Itosu and Higaonna, his two primary teachers. I.E. ITOHIGA.

François Regnault is a French philosopher, playwright and dramaturg. Also a university instructor and teacher, Regnault was maître de conférences at Paris VIII before his retirement. Among his various writings he is the author, with Jean-Claude Milner, of the seminal Dire le vers and of Conférences d'esthétique lacanienne.
