Brigadier-General Edward Hamilton Seymour, 16th Duke of Somerset, KBE, CB, CMG was the son of Reverend Francis Payne Seymour and Jane Margaret Dallas. His father was the great-grandson of Lord Francis Seymour. He was also a baronet.

Fabio Ochoa Restrepo was the patriarch of a major Colombian drug trafficking family. A renowned horse breeder and Paso Fino enthusiast, he died of kidney failure in 2002.
