Alexander Engel, birth name: Kurt Engel was a German film actor. He appeared in 73 films between 1932 and 1968. He was born in Berlin, Germany and died in Saarbrücken, West Germany. He chose the stage name "Alexander", to prevent confusion with the popular musician Kurt Engel.

Erasmus Schöfer was a German writer. He was a member of the German Communist Party and took part in resistance against the Vietnam War and rearmament, among others, and became the chronicler of resistance in Germany in his main work, a tetralogy of novels, Die Kinder des Sisyfos. It is based on recent history, from the protests of 1968 in West Germany up to the political and social developments of the 1980s until German reunification. He also wrote poetry, stories, plays and audio plays.

Camille Danguillaume was a French cyclist. He won Liège–Bastogne–Liège in 1949. He rode in the 1947, 1948 and 1949 Tour de France. He died of head injuries four days after colliding with two motorcycles at the 1950 French National Road Championships at Montlhéry. He was the uncle of fellow racing cyclist Jean-Pierre Danguillaume.

Hu Ling-fang is a Taiwanese badminton player. In 2016, she was selected to compete at the 2016 Uber Cup in Kunshan, China. She played as a third women's singles and finally the Taiwanese team beat the Mauritanian with the score 5-0. She won her first senior international title at the 2017 Finnish Open in the mixed doubles event partnered with Tseng Min-hao. Hu also joined the national team participating at the 2018 Asian Games.
