John Joseph Myers was an American prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Peoria between 1990 and 2001, Ecclesiastical Superior of Turks and Caicos from 2001 to 2016 and Archbishop of Newark during the same period.

Lawrence Duran was an American actor and stuntman. He was perhaps best known for playing Chico Modesto in the 1961 film One-Eyed Jacks.

Armand Le Véel (1821–1905) was a French statue sculptor. He was a native of Bricquebec, in the département of Manche. Napoléon III inaugurated his equestrian tribute to Napoleon I in Cherbourg in 1858. Many of his works are on exhibition at the Beaux-arts Museum of Bordeaux. He died in Cherbourg.

Frank Heemskerk is a former Dutch politician. He was member of Parliament for the Labour Party between 2003 and 2006 and was Minister for Foreign Trade within the Ministry of Economic Affairs from 2006 till 2010.
