Wu Shih-wen
Wu Shih-wen was the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of China from 2000 to 2002. He was a career military officer, joining the ROC Army Artillery first as a conscript gunner in 1952, then as a Fires Lieutenant in the Taiwanese Navy in 1955, later served as Superintendent of Naval Academy and Commander-in-chief of the Navy. He was considered to be a military and foreign policy hawk, who resisted military reforms and rapprochement with the People's Republic of China. During the Third Taiwan Straits Crisis he was suspected of ordering Amphibious Marines & Coastal Artillery units to stage live fire drills as a response to the PLA Navy's muscle flexing.

He served as the head of civilian affairs of Taiwan under Japanese rule, the first director of the South Manchuria Railway, the seventh mayor of Tokyo City, the first Chief Scout of Japan, the first Director-General of NHK, the third principal of Takushoku University, and in a number of cabinet posts. Gotō was one of the most important politicians and administrators in Japanese national government during a time of modernization and reform in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Police-General Badrodin Haiti was the Chief of the Indonesian National Police from 16 January 2015 until 13 July 2016, succeeding, Police-General Sutarman. On 16 January 2015 Badrodin was appointed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo to be the Acting Chief of Indonesian National Police replacing Sutarman, who officially retired from the service and awaiting for elected Police Chief Police-Commissioner General Budi Gunawan who was a suspect on a corruption case. On April 16, 2015, he was confirmed unanimously by Indonesian House of Representatives and sworn in by President Joko Widodo on April 17, 2015. He was replaced by Police-General Tito Karnavian.
