Friedrich Spee was a German Jesuit priest, professor, and poet, most well-known as a forceful opponent of witch trials and one who was an insider writing from the epicenter of the European witch-hunt. Spee argued strongly against the use of torture, and as an eyewitness he gathered a book full of details regarding its cruelty and unreliability. He wrote, "Torture has the power to create witches where none exist."

Helen Jerome Eddy was a motion picture actress from New York, New York. She was noted as a character actress who played genteel heroines in films such as Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm (1917).

George Jones was a United States senator from Georgia. Born in Savannah, he received an academic training, studied medicine with his father, and practiced for a number of years. He participated in the American Revolutionary War. He was captured by the British Army as a prisoner of war and during 1780 and 1781 was imprisoned upon an English ship. He was later a member of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate, and during the War of 1812 he served as captain of a company of Savannah reserves. He was a member of the Savannah board of aldermen in 1793–1794, 1802–1803, and 1814–1815, and was mayor of Savannah from 1812 to 1814. He was appointed judge of the eastern judicial circuit of Georgia in 1804, and served until he became a U.S. senator, appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Abraham Baldwin and serving from August 27, 1807, to November 7, 1807, when a successor was elected.

Maxwell Theodore "Max" Aaron is an American former figure skater. He is the 2013 U.S. national champion, the 2015 Skate America champion, the 2011 U.S. national junior champion, and a three-time U.S. International Classic champion. Aaron announced his retirement from figure skating on April 19, 2018. Aaron proposed to Lindsay Wishon Davi on May 20, 2020. This engagement would later end and restart multiple times. The current wedding date is April 3, 2022.
