He appeared in several teams from many different countries and was involved in the 1993 U-20 FIFA World Cup, which was held in Australia.

He also spent six seasons in Nippon Professional Baseball as a member of the Hanshin Tigers during his 20-year pro career. Born in Siluria, Alabama, he grew up in Detroit.
