Adrianus Voorting was a road bicycle and track cyclist from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. There he was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the men's 4,000 m team pursuit, alongside Jan Plantaz, Daan de Groot and Jules Maenen. In the individual road race Voorting ended up in 49th place.

John W. Nordstrom was a Swedish American businessman who was the co-founder of the Nordstrom department store chain.

V. A. Urechia was a Moldavian, later Romanian historian, Romantic author of historical fiction and plays, academic and politician. The author of Romanian history syntheses, a noted bibliographer, heraldist, ethnographer and folklorist, he founded and managed a private school, later holding teaching positions at the University of Iaşi and University of Bucharest. Urechia was also one of the founding members of the Romanian Academy and, as frequent traveler to Spain and fluent speaker of Spanish, a corresponding member of the Royal Spanish Academy. He was the father of satirist Alceu Urechia.

Jamison Jones is an American actor known for his leading roles in the films The Wretched and He Was a Quiet Man, and as a regular cast member on General Hospital, and in the Fox series 24. He originated the title role in the world premiere of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s Doctor Cerberus at the Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory. Jones has also guest-starred on several television series, including Burn Notice, Will & Grace, CSI: NY, NCIS, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight and The Whispers.
