Ryne Andrew Sanborn is an American ice hockey player and former actor. He is best known for his role as Jason Cross in the High School Musical films. In 2008 he retired from acting to study architecture at University of Utah. He plays ice hockey for the Salt Lake Outliers.

Blas Fajardo Ople was a Filipino journalist and politician who held several high-ranking positions in the executive and legislative branches of the Philippine government, including as Senate President from 1999 to 2000, and as Secretary of Foreign Affairs from 2002 until his death. Perceived as a leftist-nationalist at the onset of his career in public service, Ople was, in his final years, a vocal supporter for allowing a limited United States military presence in the Philippines, and for American initiatives in the War on Terror including the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq.

Sir William Cornelius Van Horne, succeeded Lord Mount Stephen as president of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) in 1888. He was a prominent member of the Whitney syndicate that created the Cuba Railroad Company, incorporated at Trenton, New Jersey, in 1900 with a capitalization of $8,000,000. He lived at the Van Horne Mansion in Montreal's Golden Square Mile.

Marcel Palonder is a Slovak singer. He represented his country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 with the song "Kým nás máš". His song qualified from the semifinal, earning 36 points but in the final it placed 17th place with 19 points. The points to the Slovak entry were given by: Greece four points, Malta eight points, Poland five points and Spain two points.
