Marek Trončinský was a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman who played his last games with CS Progym Gheorgheni in the Erste Liga. Before that he was with UK EIHL side Sheffield Steelers. Trončinský also previously represented HC Bílí Tygři Liberec in the Czech Extraliga.

Josef Masopust was a Czech football player and coach. He played as midfielder and was a key player for Czechoslovakia, helping them reach the 1962 FIFA World Cup Final. He was capped 63 times, scoring 10 goals for his country.

Florence Marly was a Czech-born French film actress. During World War II, Marly moved to neutral Argentina with her Jewish husband, film director Pierre Chenal, where she appeared in several films. She also acted in two of her husband's films while they were in Chile.

Jane Tilden, born as Marianne Wilhelmine Tuch, (1910–2002) was an Austrian actress who enjoyed a long career on stage and in films and television shows. She was born as Marianne Tuch in Aussig, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. She was the sister of the cinematographer Walter Tuch. After making her debut on the stage in the early 1930s she appeared regularly in German and Austrian films during the Nazi era including the 1938 comedy The Blue Fox (1938). After the Second World War she worked regularly in film and television, increasingly in supporting roles. She was married three times, her husbands included the actor Erik Frey and composer Alexander Steinbrecher.

Andreas Hammerschmidt, the "Orpheus of Zittau," was a German Bohemian composer and organist of the early to middle Baroque era. He was one of the most significant and popular composers of sacred music in Germany in the middle 17th century.

Jiří Jarošík Czech pronunciation (help·info) is a Czech football manager and a former player. His playing position was defender and midfielder. He started his club career in his native Czech Republic, winning six league titles in seven years with Sparta Prague. He headed abroad to continue his football career, spending eight years playing for various teams including CSKA Moscow, Chelsea, Birmingham City, Celtic, Krylia Sovetov and Real Zaragoza. During this time he won league titles in four countries. He then returned to Sparta, although only for two seasons, after which he headed to Spain to play for Deportivo Alavés.

Julius Gellner, was one of the most famous German-speaking theatre directors of the 1920s. Between 1924 and 1933, he was superintendent (Oberspielleiter) and vice-Director of the Munich theater "Münchner Kammerspiele im Schauspielhaus". He was the uncle of the British philosopher and social scientist Ernest Gellner.

Jaroslav Kubera was a Czech Civic Democratic politician who served as Senator representing Teplice from 2000 and the President of the Senate from 2018 until his death in 2020, becoming the first high-ranking Czech official to die in the office. He previously served as mayor of Teplice from 1994 to 2018.

He was married to the Mexican-American actress, Lupita Tovar. His brother was Frederick Kohner, a novelist and screenwriter, his daughter was the actress Susan Kohner. His grandsons are the filmmakers Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz.
