In addition to her mayoral runs, she represented city-wide posts on the Atlanta City Council from 2002 to 2010 and again from 2014 to 2018. She resides in the Tuxedo Park neighborhood of Atlanta's Buckhead community.

Aaron Matthew Moorehead is an American football coach and former player. He is the wide receivers coach for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football as a wide receiver at Illinois and signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2003. Moorehead played his entire 5-year career with the Colts from 2003 to 2007 and was a member of their Super Bowl XLI winning team over the Chicago Bears. After his playing career ended, Moorehead began his coaching career and was the wide receivers coach for Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
