Gary Peacock was an American jazz double bassist. He recorded a dozen albums under his own name, and also performed and recorded with major jazz figures such as Albert Ayler, Paul Bley, and Bill Evans. In addition, he recorded over twenty albums with Keith Jarrett's Standards Trio, which also featured drummer Jack DeJohnette, and which existed for over 30 years. DeJohnette stated that he admired Peacock's "sound, choice of notes, and, above all, the buoyancy of his playing." Pianist Marilyn Crispell called Peacock a "sensitive musician with a great harmonic sense."

Tyler Ulis is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. At Kentucky in 2015, he led his team in assists, he made the 2015 SEC All-Freshman Team and led the 2014–15 Kentucky team that won its first 38 games before losing to Wisconsin in the final four of the 2015 NCAA Tournament. As a sophomore, Ulis was a Consensus first-team All-American and earned the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and SEC Defensive Player of the Year recognition.
