On 22 February 2021, Zarazúa reached her best singles ranking of world No. 141, and on 8 October 2018, she peaked at No. 135 in the doubles rankings. Renata made her WTA Tour singles debut at the 2016 Brasil Cup, where she reached the main draw through qualifying. On the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, she has won two titles in singles and 15 titles in doubles. On the WTA Tour, her biggest result to date was reaching the semifinals of the 2020 Mexican Open, where she defeated former No. 3, Sloane Stephens, in the first round. In 2020, she qualified for the main draw of the French Open, her Grand Slam debut. She was the first Mexican female tennis player to play at the main draw of a Grand Slam championship since 2000.

A former forward, throughout his playing career, he played for Uruguayan side Nacional, as well as Italian clubs Cagliari, Napoli, Roma, Juventus, and Como, and Argentine side River Plate, winning titles with both Nacional and Juventus. At international level, he represented Uruguay on 30 occasions between 1990 and 1997, scoring 11 goals, and also took part at the 1990 World Cup and the 1995 Copa América, winning the latter tournament.

President and co-director of New Threads, a publication and website that promotes Chinese culture to the general public, Fang's aggressive campaign against allegations of academic fraud has been hotly debated; while Fang's works have appeared in many Chinese publications, various Chinese scholars have accused him of vigilantism and of using populist rhetoric in academic research. In 2019, due to the security fund incident, Fang Zhouzi’s fraud associate Peng Jian lost both cases in the domestic finals. The verdict has been inquired, and the court ruled that Peng Jian will refund 3.1 million donations and interest.
