Julia Mikhaylovna Lezhneva is a Russian soprano opera singer and recitalist, specialising in soprano and coloratura mezzo-soprano material of the 18th and early 19th century. She studied with Tamara Cherkasova, Irina Zhurina, Elena Obraztsova, Dennis O'Neill and Yvonne Kenny.

Larisa Petrik
Larisa Leonidovna Petrik is a former Soviet gymnast and Olympic champion. Petrik competed at the 1966 World Championships where she shared in the team silver medal and earned an individual bronze medal on the beam. She also competed at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, where she received a gold medal in floor exercise, a gold medal in team combined exercises, and a bronze medal in balance beam. Her gold medal on floor was very controversial because originally, Čáslavská won outright. After the competition was concluded, Petrik's prelims scores were changed to let her tie with Čáslavská, an action which caused Čáslavská to publicly defy the Soviets who had recently invaded her home country.

Alexandr Anatolyevich Romankov is a former Belarusian fencer from the former Soviet Union, who was born on 7 November 1953 in the town of Korsakov on the island of Sakhalin. One of the most successful Soviet fencers, he is also regarded by some as the greatest foilist of the 20th century. He trained at Dynamo in Minsk and won a gold medal, two silver medals and two bronze medals at the three Olympic Games that he competed in between 1976 and 1988.

Keiichi Suzuki is a retired Japanese speed skater. He competed at the 1964, 1968 and 1972 Winter Olympics in the 500 m and 1500 m events with the best result of fifth place in the 500 m in 1964. He set two world records in the 500 m event in 1969–70.
