Qin Yiyuan is a Chinese former world level badminton player. Qin played internationally for China from the mid-1990s through the 2000 Summer Olympics, a period during which her fellow countrywomen Ge Fei and Gu Jun dominated international women's doubles play. Qin won women's doubles at the 1996 China Open, 1997 Thailand Open, 1998 Denmark Open with Tang Yongshu, and at the 1999 Thailand, French, and Denmark Opens, and 2000 Swiss Open with Gao Ling. She was a bronze medalist at the 1995 IBF World Championships and a silver medalist at the 1997 IBF World Championships with Tang Yongshu. She earned a bronze medal again at the 1999 edition of the tourney with Gao Ling. Qin also earned bronze medals for women's doubles at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics, the first with Tang Yongshu and the second with Gao. She was a member of Chinese teams which captured the Uber Cup in 1998 and 2000.

Xian Xinghai or Sinn Sing Hoi was one of the earliest generation of Chinese composers influenced by western classical music and has influenced generations of Chinese musicians. Xian composed in all the major musical forms, and is best known for the Yellow River Cantata upon which the Yellow River Concerto for piano and orchestra is based.

Huang Li is a Chinese female track cyclist who specialises in omnium.

Ren Jianxin is a Chinese entrepreneur who is the founding president of the state-owned China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina), the 265th largest company of the Fortune Global 500. He founded Bluestar, a small solvents factory, in 1984, and created ChemChina by taking control of more than 100 troubled factories from the government, which retains ownership.

Huang Xintong is a Chinese former competitive ice dancer. With partner Zheng Xun, she is the 2011 Asian Winter Games champion and a five-time Chinese national champion. Their best result at the World Championships was 12th in 2012.

Ou Dongni is a badminton player from China. She won the 2015 Singapore Super Series with Yu Xiaohan.

Pan Pan is a retired Chinese professional badminton player. With her partner Tian Qing, they managed to reach the fifth position in the world rankings. She retired in 2012 to be an assistant coach in Chinese Badminton Association. She married Xu Chen in mid-2011.
