Sir Michael Hintze, GCSG, AM is a British-Australian businessman, philanthropist and Conservative Party donor, based in the United Kingdom.

Yang Yun is a Chinese gymnast. She was born in Zhuzhou, Hunan. She won the bronze medal on the uneven bars at the 2000 Summer Olympics along with a fifth-place finish in the all around, where a fall off the balance beam cost her the gold medal, finishing less than three and a half tenths behind eventual champion Simona Amânar of Romania. She was also a member of the bronze medal winning Chinese team, but the medal was stripped by the IOC in 2010 after one of the Chinese team members was found to be underage during the competition.

Duo Duo or Duoduo is the pen name of contemporary Chinese poet, Li Shizheng (栗世征), a prominent exponent of the Chinese Misty Poets (朦胧诗). Duo Duo was awarded the 2010 Neustadt International Prize for Literature.

Yuen Woo-ping is a Hong Kong martial arts choreographer and film director, renowned as one of the most successful and influential figures in the world of Hong Kong action cinema. He is one of the inductees on the Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong. Yuen is also a son of Yuen Siu-tien, a renowned martial arts film actor.

Tian Bingyi is a former badminton star from China. Though he played some singles internationally early in his career, he soon specialised in men's doubles.

Shi Shengjie was a Chinese xiangsheng comedian.

Lady Gan was a concubine of Liu Bei, the founding emperor of the state of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms period of China and Liu Shan's mother. She was later posthumously honoured as Lady Huangsi which means "the Lady whom the Emperor misses" by Liu Bei. Then after his death, she was named Empress Zhaolie by her son to match his father's posthumous title.

Chen Haosu is a Chinese poet and politician. He served as Chairman of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries from 2000 to 2011. He is also President of the China International Friendship Cities Association, China-Russia Friendship Association and China-EU Association.
