Kehinde Babatunde Victor Oladipo is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and singer. He played college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers, where in the 2012-2013 season he was named the Sporting News Men's College Basketball Player of the Year, the Co-NABC Defensive Player of the Year, and a first-team All-American by the USBWA and Sporting News. That year he was also named the winner of the Adolph Rupp Trophy, given annually to the top player in men's NCAA Division I basketball. Oladipo was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic and went on to be named to the NBA All-Rookie first team. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016, and then traded to the Indiana Pacers in 2017. He became a first-time NBA All-Star, led the league in steals, was named to the All-Defensive First Team and the All-NBA Third Team, and won the NBA Most Improved Player Award in his first season with Indiana. Despite an injury-riddled 2018–19 season, including a season-ending injury in January 2019, Oladipo was named an Eastern Conference All-Star reserve for the second straight year.

José Álvaro Osorio Balvín, better known as J Balvin, is a Colombian reggaeton singer and songwriter. He has been referred to as the "Prince of Reggaeton", and is one of the best-selling Latin music artists with sales of more than 35 million records worldwide. Balvin was born in Medellín, Colombia. At age 17, he moved to the United States to learn English, where he lived in both Oklahoma and New York. He then returned to Medellín and gained popularity performing at clubs in the city.

Temba Bavuma is a South African cricketer who is currently the vice-captain of the South African national team in Tests. He was the first black African cricketer to make a Test century for South Africa. Brought up in the intense cricket culture of Langa – Bavuma, Thami Tsolekile and Malusi Siboto are all from the same street – Bavuma was educated at South African College Junior School in Newlands, and St David's Marist Inanda High School in Sandton. He is primarily a Test player and regarded as a gritty, classical mid-order batsman and excellent fielder.

Richard Steven Valenzuela, known professionally as Ritchie Valens, was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. A rock and roll pioneer and a forefather of the Chicano rock movement, Valens was killed in a plane crash eight months into his recording career.

James Edward Cracknell, is a British athlete, rowing champion and double Olympic gold medalist. He was married to TV and radio presenter Beverley Turner, together they have three children. Cracknell was appointed OBE for "services to sport" in the 2005 New Year Honours List.

José Alberto "Pepe" Mujica Cordano is an Uruguayan farmer and retired politician who served as the 40th President of Uruguay from 2010 to 2015. A former guerrilla with the Tupamaros, he was imprisoned for 12 years during the military dictatorship in the 1970s and 1980s. A member of the Broad Front coalition of left-wing parties, Mujica was Minister of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries from 2005 to 2008 and a Senator afterwards. As the candidate of the Broad Front, he won the 2009 presidential election and took office as President on 1 March 2010.

Leonardo Bonucci is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for and serves as vice captain of both Serie A club Juventus and the Italy national team.

Cosma Shiva Hagen is a German-American actress and voice actress. She is largely unknown outside of German-speaking countries. Although she speaks English, her acting roles have been largely confined to German language films and television productions. She also starred in an Irish film called Short Order (2005).
