After complaints to Liverpool's Social Services by her eldest sister, Mimi Smith, she handed over the care of her son to her sister Mimi. She later had one daughter after an affair with a Welsh soldier, but the baby was given up for adoption after pressure from her family. She then had two daughters, Julia and Jackie, with John 'Bobby' Dykins. She never divorced her husband, preferring to live as the common-law wife of Dykins for the rest of her life.

Sarah Galbraith Buxton is an American actress. She has appeared in films such as Lovelines (1984), The Sure Thing (1985) and Less Than Zero (1987), as well as guest starred in a number of television shows in her early career. On television, Buxton is best known for playing female protagonist/heroine Annie Douglas Richards in the NBC soap opera Sunset Beach from 1997 to 1999. She later played soap villain, Morgan DeWitt, on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Count Claude d'Aspremont Lynden is a Belgian economist and professor at the Universite Catholique de Louvain, Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE), and Département des sciences économiques (ECON). He obtained a PhD at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University in 1973. His research focus is mathematical economics, social choice theory, and industrial organization. In 1995, he was awarded the Francqui Prize in Human Sciences.
