Martí Vergés Massa, usually known as "Martín Vergés", was a Spanish footballer. He played for FC Barcelona and earned 12 caps for the Spain national football team and was included in their 1962 FIFA World Cup squad. He died nineteen days short of his 87th birthday.

Princess Ida of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym was a princess of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym by birth as a daughter of Victor II, Prince of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym. As the wife of Hereditary Prince Paul Frederick Augustus of Oldenburg she became an Hereditary Princess of Oldenburg by marriage.

Georges Martin was a French engineer, a graduate of the Special School of Public Works, "mechanical-electrical" section. He designed automobile internal combustion engines including the "Poissy engine" that powered various cars from Simca, Matra, Chrysler, Talbot, Plymouth, and Dodge from 1961 until 1991, and perhaps more famously, the successful V12 Matra Sports engine for Matra's Formule 1 team.

Bernard Plantapilosa or Bernard II of Auvergne, or Plantevelue, son of Bernard of Septimania and Dhuoda, was the Count of Auvergne from 872 to his death. The Emperor Charles the Fat granted him the title of Margrave of Aquitaine in 885.

Rudolf Jozef Krol is a Dutch former professional footballer who was capped 83 times for the Netherlands national team. Most of his career he played for his home town club, Ajax, and he became a coach after retirement. Regarded as one of the best defenders of all time, Krol mainly played as a sweeper or left-back, however he could play anywhere across the back line, or in midfield as a defensive midfielder, due to his range of passing with both feet, temperament, tactical intelligence, and ability to start attacking plays after winning back the ball.

Yoshiro Yokomine is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet. A native of Kagoshima Prefecture and high school graduate, he was elected for the first time in 2007. He is the father of professional golfer Sakura Yokomine.
