Léon Nicolas Brillouin was a French physicist. He made contributions to quantum mechanics, radio wave propagation in the atmosphere, solid state physics, and information theory.

John Boullongne, Count de Nogent (1690–1769) was a French magistrate and politician.

François Georges René Bruhat was a French mathematician who worked on algebraic groups. The Bruhat order of a Weyl group, the Bruhat decomposition, and the Schwartz–Bruhat functions are named after him.

Francis Dreyfus was a French record producer, who focused on jazz and electronic music, publishing Jean-Michel Jarre's first commercially successful work, Oxygène.

Jean Dréville was a French film director. He directed 45 films between 1928 and 1969.

Gaston Eugène Marie Bonnier was a French botanist and plant ecologist. The standard author abbreviation Bonnier is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name. Bonnier first studied at École Normale Supérieure in Paris from 1873 to 1876. Together with Charles Flahault, he studied at Uppsala University in 1878. They published two articles about their impressions:
