Pierre-François-Henri Labrouste was a French architect from the famous École des Beaux-Arts school of architecture. After a six-year stay in Rome, Labrouste established an architectural training workshop, which soon became known for rationalism. He became noted for his use of iron-frame construction and was one of the first to realize the importance of its use.

Théodore-Adolphe Barrot was a French diplomat during the July Monarchy, the French Second Republic and the Second French Empire. He served in Colombia, the Philippines, Haiti, Brazil, Portugal, Naples, Belgium and Spain. He became a senator just before his retirement.

Hélène Missoffe was a French Union of Democrats for the Republic later the Rally for the Republic politician. She was appointed Officier de la Légion d'honneur.
