Émilie Le Pennec is a retired French artistic gymnast. Le Pennec was the 2004 Olympic Champion on the uneven bars and was the first female French gymnast to win an Olympic medal in women's artistic gymnastics.

Éric Névé, was a French film producer who produced from the early nineteen nineties until his death. In 1993, he founded his own production company, La Chauve Souris. Éric is best known for Jan Kounen’s Dobermann, starring Vicent Cassel and Monica Bellucci, Jean-Paul Salomé’s Female Agents starring Sophie Marceau, and Frédéric Schoendoerffer's Crime Insiders. In 2011, he founded Astou Films, a production company based in Senegal, with whom he produced the French-Senegalese film The Pirogue directed by Senegalese director Moussa Touré, screened in the section Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival 2012 and in over 80 film festivals across the globe. In 2013 he created, with Nicholas Eschbach an international feature film sales and co-production company, Indie Sales, which focuses on diverse international independent films with a strong commercial potential.

Youssef Soukouna, better known by his stage name Sefyu, is a French rapper of Senegalese descent. He comes from Aulnay-sous-Bois, a city in the French department of Seine-Saint-Denis of which is located within the northern suburbs of Paris. Sefyu originally aspired to become a professional soccer player, but his dream was derailed after he sustained an injury whilst playing for English club Arsenal. He emerged upon the hip-hop scene in the early 2000s to commercial and critical acclaim.

Marie-Anne Victoire Gillain Boivin was a French midwife, inventor, and obstetrics writer. Mme Boivin has been called one of the most important women in medicine in the 19th century. Boivin invented a new pelvimeter and a vaginal speculum, and the medical textbooks that she wrote were translated to different languages and used for 150 years.

Charles Enderlin is a Franco-Israeli journalist, specialising in the Middle East and Israel. He is the author of a number of books on the subject, including Shamir, une biographie (1991), Shattered Dreams: The Failure of the Peace Process in the Middle East, 1995–2002 (2002), and The Lost Years: Radical Islam, Intifada and Wars in the Middle East 2001–2006 (2007). He was awarded France's highest decoration, the Légion d'honneur, in August 2009.
