Gilles Grangier was a French film director and screenwriter. He directed 55 films and several TV series between 1943 and 1985. His film Archimède le clochard was entered into the 9th Berlin International Film Festival, where Jean Gabin won the Silver Bear for Best Actor. He had the most number of successful films at the French box office between 1945 and 2001 with 42 of his films having admissions of 500,000 or more, more than any other.

Françoise of Lorraine was a princess of Lorraine and daughter-in-law of Henry IV of France. Sometimes known as Françoise de Mercœur, she belonged to the Mercœur cadet branch of the sovereign Dukes of Lorraine and was a niece of Louise of Lorraine, wife of the previous King Henry III. Françoise was the heiress of her father and, as such, was the Duchess of Mercœur and Penthièvre suo jure.

He was the owner of several stud farms in La Celle Saint-Cloud, Haras Villebon and Haras Hardy. He built the racecourse of Saint-Cloud inaugurated in 1901 along with a horse training center named La Fouilleuse. He won the Grand Prix de Paris seven times.

Boris Petrović-Njegoš, known professionally as Boris Petrovitch Njegosh, is a French designer. He is the only son and heir-apparent of Prince Nikola Petrović-Njegoš of Montenegro and his wife Francine Navarro.
