Sindy Auvity, commonly known mononymously as Sindy, born in 1995 in Royan, is the lead vocalist of the French Hip-Hop group Team BS. After the success of the group's album, Sindy announced that she would be releasing her own solo album. Selfie was released in July 2015 and reached 25 in the French charts.

Louis Léon César Faidherbe was a French general and colonial administrator. He created the Senegalese Tirailleurs when he was governor of Senegal.

Robert Antelme was a French writer. During the Second World War he was involved in the French Resistance and deported.

Charles, Prince Napoléon is a French politician, and is recognised by some Bonapartists as the head of the Imperial House of France and as heir to the rights and legacy established by his great-great-great-uncle, Emperor Napoléon I. Other Bonapartists consider his son, Jean-Christophe, to be the current head of the house and heir.

Cyrille Guimard is a French former professional road racing cyclist who became a directeur sportif and then a television commentator. Three of his riders, Bernard Hinault, Laurent Fignon, and Lucien Van Impe, won the Tour de France. Another protégé of Guimard's, Greg LeMond, described him as "the best (coach) in the world" and "the best coach I ever had". He has been described by cycling journalist William Fotheringham as the greatest directeur sportif in the history of the Tour.

André Utter was a French painter. He was in the 18th arrondissement of Paris to parents of Alsatian origin. He is best known for having been the second husband and manager of French painter Suzanne Valadon and the father-in-law of her son, Maurice Utrillo. The trio have also been called the trinité maudite due to their atmosphere of quarrels, reconciliations and alcoholism.

Jean Patry is a French volleyball player, member of the French national team and Italian club Allianz Milano. He participated at the 2017 European Championship.

Stéphane Houdet is a French wheelchair tennis player. Houdet is a former singles world number one, and the current doubles world number one. In 2014, he became the first man in history to complete the calendar-year Grand Slam in men's wheelchair doubles.

Adèle Foucher was the wife of French writer Victor Hugo, with whom she was acquainted from childhood. Her affair with the critic Charles-Augustin Sainte-Beuve became the raw material for Sainte-Beuve's 1834 novel, Volupté. Adèle wrote a biography of her husband, published in 1863.
